Bali, November 22nd, 2004 - the 2004 series of Helsinn's regional Nimesulide Marketing Meetings (NMM) ended with the event organised for its nimesulide partners in the Far East and held in Bali, Indonesia, on 22nd November. The meeting, "For a new jump of sales in Asia", attracted several members of Helsinn's partner companies and this evidenced the high expectations of growth in the area and the current development potential and significant opportunities to be found in the NSAID market in the Far East.
The Far East NMM programme first provided the audience with a major update of the most recent scientific data and developments on nimesulide and then focused on an overview of the recent key marketing trends in the various countries where nimesulide is on the market. The event also gave the participants the opportunity to exchange ideas, opinions and experience in the field.
![]() This event was the worthy conclusion of a cycle of events that took place during 2004 involving all of Helsinn's world-wide partners for nimesulide. It was preceded by the Latin American Marketing Meeting that was held in Miami on 23-24 June, and by the one dedicated to the European Partners that took place in Venice on 22 April. All the meetings were structured in a way so as to focus on the major issues of interest for the various markets according to the different territorial approaches and cultures, and were aimed at outlining a series of common strategic guidelines, enhancing the cross seeding of information and exchange of experiences among all partners, with Helsinn playing the pivotal role and drawing a fil rouge to bring together all its licensees under the same flag.
