The grop’s Irish commercial company, helsinn Birex Therapeutics Ltd., is engaged in marketing, positioning and selling Helsinn’s range of products (Aloxi®, Klean-Prep®, Dona, Casacol, Truoxin, Ideos, Zibor, By-Mycin, Byvertin) on the Irish market, thereby playing an important role in proposing appropriate marketing strategies for Helsinn’s new products. The company also markets in-licensed original products from European companies as well as brand generics.
Helsinn’s Irish subsidiary represents a major player in the pharmaceutical local market with 20 REPs, a total IMS sales for 2008 of Euro 13.4 million (USD 18.6 mio) abd a current 31° IMS ranking position, which places it among the most important groups.
