RapolyteŽ is a powder of salts and glucose. It is available in sachets and reconstituted in water for oral administration. It is used for correction of fluid and electrolyte loss in the management of water diarrhoea.
Each sachet of RapolyteŽ contains 60 mmol/L of sodium and 110 mmol/L of glucose with a total substance concentration of 250mmol/L, perfectly in line with the optimum concentration of 200-310mmol/L recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO) to provide maximal absorption of sodium and water.
RapolyteŽ is competitively priced when compared to other oral rehydration solutions on the market.
